Delivery Policy

How delivery is decided

Every component on FastElectronics can be carried by more than one vendor. When a vendor near your delivery address has an item in stock, you can choose between our 2-hour delivery option (that nearby vendor) or our standard delivery option (the lowest-priced vendor, shipped by courier) — right on the product page and again in your cart. 2-hour delivery is currently available in Bengaluru only;standard delivery reaches addresses all over India.

Delivery tiers

  • 2 hours — a vendor within about 10km of your delivery address has it in stock.
  • 1-2 days — the lowest-priced vendor within about 50km of your delivery address.
  • 2–3 days — the nearest in-stock vendor is within about 300km.
  • 4–7 days — the nearest in-stock vendor is further away.
  • Backorder — if nobody currently has stock, we show the shortest restock lead time from any vendor carrying the part.

The exact tier for each item is shown on its product page's vendor comparison table, and confirmed again at checkout once your address is known.

Shipping fees

Delivery is charged on every order. At checkout we fetch the live courier rate for your exact address — the 2-hour rate for Bengaluru orders, or the standard courier rate anywhere else in India — and show it before you pay.

Multiple vendors, one order

If your cart contains items best fulfilled by different vendors, they still appear as a single order — the delivery estimate shown is based on the slowest item in the order, so you always see a realistic worst case.

Delivery timelines are estimates

The delivery windows above — including 24-hour delivery — are our target, based on vendor stock and distance at the time you order. They are estimates, not guarantees. Occasionally a delay can happen due to stock availability changing after checkout, logistics or courier disruptions, or circumstances beyond our control. If that happens, our team will reach out to you in advance with the revised timeline, so there are no surprises. You can always check the latest status of an order from My Account → Orders.
